We're very pleased to report that, earlier today,

 Shakira passed one billion views on YouTube,

 making her one of only a handful of artists to have achieved this amazing feat.

The views were gathered across Shakira's three official YouTube channels

(/shakira, /shakiravevo and /shakirasme) -with the Spanish

and English versions of the video for last year's World Cup anthem,

Waka Waka, accounting for more than 300 million of the views.

"I'm really happy to hear the news," said Shakira.

 "One billion views around the world is an unthinkable number and more than I could ever have dreamed of."

To celebrate we're asking you guys to vote for your favourite Shakira video.

 Shakira will then record a special audio commentary for whichever video tops the poll

(which will close at 10am EST on Tuesday 1st February).
